Oh, I think I could pull off a cropped cape with a pair of skinny jeans for date night! I kind of love the second to the last and second from the top the most. Which one is your favorite?

xoxo,
Rachel

  1. The herringbone. I had a gorgeous herringbone swing coat back in the 80s that I sooo wish I'd kept. This makes me all sentimental. :)

  3. well snap, I just wore my grandmother's goooorgeous mint condition cape from the 1950s yesterday. It was scary wearing it out because it's just so beautiful and bold that I can't really hide amongst the crowd. wearing a cape takes confidence! it's scary! haha.

  10. I happened to have bought a camel version from a thrift store for six dollars two years ago--I guess I'm ahead of the trends. ;-) (Yeah, right!)

  11. I love the houndstooth, the herringbone, and the bottom right one with the leatherette. I have a cream wool vintage cape that I wore for my wedding two winters ago - I'm not sure if I'll brave pulling it out with casual outfits this year or not.

  18. I love the bright orange one with 235 behind it. It's gorgeous.
I have two and they are so comfortable but stylish. One is grey herringbone and the other is crocheted! I found it at a secondhand store for $5!
And you are right - they look fantastic with skinny jeans. Balances it all out.
