The Countdown-37 weeks today

Waiting for the midwife.
Working on a project for our Autumn online class.
Ready for my teapot to boil.
Staying cozy warm in our crooked house.
Still able to sit on the floor and make pretty things.

xoxo,
Rachel

  1. Rachel- I love your blog, this is my first comment...I am awaiting my own baby girl (35 weeks and counting) She's our 3rd girl! I love these hats, do you have a pattern you used? I am so over pink, and have sewed lots of green, and black/white stuff for this one! Let me know, if possible. Thanks -Shannon

  2. Shannon,

I'm going to be making hats for sale in the RVA shop later this week that I'm using my pattern for so I can't offer it directly. However, if you want to make something similar, I suggest picking up a similar hat from a thrift store (Gerber brand) and cutting it up and using that as a pattern.

Congrats on your little one on her way and thanks for stopping by!

  10. I love your projects! Hey, I hope this isn't too much of a strange question. I live in Spfd, MO, too, and I was wondering how you found your midwife? I am 17 1/2 weeks along with my first baby and I'm starting to get nervous!
