ReplyDeleteNew band crush falls between Phoenix and Passion Pit in a tie. Lisztomania from Phoenix and Seaweed Song from Passion Pit got me hooked on each band. I let my best friend, Joey, listen to them, and he too fell in love with them - and bought their CDs for me as a present!

I've been really crazy about Lykke Li's album "Youth Novels" for a few months now...especially the songs "Little Bit" and "Time Flies." They're so pretty and sweet and sort of quirky. (but I broke my ipod 2 weeks ago, so I've been listening to audiobooks checked out from the library, the latest being David Sedaris' "When You Are Englufed in Flames." It's hilarious.)
