Home Gym

If you want a great core workout, stick a small child in a big, plastic laundry basket. Sit on the floor with your legs crossed like you did during storytime in preschool. Set the basket directly in front of you. (Keep the child from crawling out). With arms at each end of the basket, pull to one side of you and then the other at a slow but fluid pace. Sit up as straight as you can while keeping your stomach muscles contracted. (Stop when you've pulled a muscle.)

I should have a six-pack sometime this weekend.

lol. another good one is let said child to wrap around your leg (like kindergarden sitting) and do your daily stuff with herm in your leg.
OR if you really like a challenge, do it with TWINS! lol!!! when i was a nanny, the kids used to wrap on all the time....lol ;)

you're hilarious! Very Erma Bombeck'esque. One of my fav satire writers. Way to make the everyday life grand.

Maybe you could do your own infomercial for late night tv! LOL. That work-out is probably better than anything I've seen on tv lately! ;0)

Glad you're mastering motherhood in true Rachel fashion!!

Just wanted to wish you a super lovely birthday! I know it's tomorrow but my computer keeps crashing so I can't rely on being able to use it again before your special day.

Love your blog!! I've been sneaking peeks at it for a few months now. It's great to see some of what you're up to.

Missing you lots. Wish we could share a day together to catch up on life, marriage and so I could meet your gorgeous Sebastian. Darn that Atlantic Ocean getting in the way again!

Anyway Happy Birthday from me, Giles, my parents and family and the jolly old town of Ashby!
