In the P.M. when all is quiet but my iBook

I feel like making these.

Ready for a chill in the air and warm colors on the Earth.

Listening to 'The Reminder' from Feist because she's lovely.

Feeling piled on top of.

Trying to enjoy the process.

Wanting great changes to come quickly and learning to wait where I am.

Knowing my morning coffee will be with milk and sugar because I forgot creamer again.

Easing in to my reorganized workspace.

Wondering if this online community knows the large part it plays in my creative journey.

(Counting the days until Grey's Anatomy!)

Needing to be stronger in myself.

Enjoying my sweet melancholy tonight.

Back in a few days with something to show for. Write me a haiku or something pretty.

it's 3:53am and i just finished the cover of my book (i'm writing a book). I feel so good. I haven't been able to sit in my studio for a week, and i missed her. i didn't even turn on music or a tv, but it was a happy room. the cover is perfectly me, and i feel ecstatic. coming out of the studio is the best drug there is. i needed that. glad you're feeling the studio too friend :)

Oh those looks sooo warm and cozy!!! I just love the quilts you make! I can't wait to see them! Thank you for making pretty things...it really inspires me to go make things. I too forgot the creamer...and I am such a baby because I refuse to drink my tea with milk :( Enjoy the workspace and I will be counting down the days to GA too! I am addicted to the show! Can't wait to see what you make!!!

I totally appreciate the fact that you quilt (and your quilts on etsy are so pretty!) My grandma (a very talented quilter) passed away this weekend, and we marked the family seating at the funeral home by laying her quilts on the pews. It was comforting at such a difficult moment to be sitting on something that we knew her hands had touched and that she had put so much hard work into. Sorry if I'm being depressing -- I really don't mean to be. Your post just made me reflect on this weekend a bit. Thanks. :)

man, love your little list! really gives insight into your life 'right now'. i wonder if other people are interested in that sort of thing besides me? i just wonder what makes people tick. and this list is a perfect example of that!

It's cold and rainy here today (typical Alaska). I could totally curl up under one of those quilts with some hot chocolate for the rest of the afternoon, and be content! I love fall too, bring it on!

Totally ready for Grey's, too. Can't wait!

Also, I showed my mom the quilt you made (the queen sized one) because you and my mom have inpsired me to try quilting. She said your things are "very lovely." I said, "See, I told you!"

Have a fun week!
