A Lovely Day

I get so excited about thrifting.
Brett, Brittany and myself took a trip to Goodwill this afternoon while Sebastian slept. I was antsy in the car. Like someone was going to take everything before I got there. Thankfully, there aren't many others in the Jeff City area that love vintage bedspreads. Throw in a 50% off day and I was one happy lady. $5 hasn't gone so far in long time.
I've been sleeping more than usual, crafting very little and watching movies every night for the last 4 days at the in laws. Its been divine.
Anyone have exciting New Year's plans? Do share! And check out the little contest we're doing HERE in place of a monthly kit.
Enjoy the last day of the year!

hi girl - so glad you are having a great time!

we have a (very quirky) tradition of making homemade sausage (i told you - quirky) on NYE and then having everyone over the next day to watch football and share a meal. so fun! (especially to go into the butcher shop and ask for 5 lbs of pork and 12 feet of pig intestine - you know, for the casings! it is truly as utterly disgusting as it sounds!) hey - last year, i bought TEN pounds of pork . . . WAY too much!

hope all is well with you and yours!
big hugs!

Me and my husband will be having our usual stay in and ring in the New Year night. We made WAY to much food for just two people but it's all super yummy and we will watch Dick Clark count down. I also want to spend some time reviewing the past year and setting goals for next year! Happy New Year to you and your family!

They look like some yummy vintage bed spreads! Our New Years was spent watching movies and then listening to the fire works from outside. Hope you had a happy one!
