this empty space has not brought disappointment. This transition before the transition has proven emotionally draining. I'm not sure where its all coming from but I've not been in the mood to do much but ingest home design inspiration online and take walks with Sebastian. Things are getting done, but very slowly and with much dragging of feet and spirit. I am letting it happen and trying to work it out so it doesn't burst forth in one big, emotional gush. In the meantime, I appreciate that you stop by and sometimes leave comments.
Here are some pictures from our Memorial Day trip to Sequoia National Park. It was one of those leftover winter weekends that shows up at an awkward time but it WAS a nice break from the 100 degree weather the Saturday before.
Be back soon.

Hi there! I linked to your blog a few weeks ago (I think through Elsie's) and I must say you are quite the inspiration! I just started making quilts and felt friends and love to see your designs.
I don't know what is happening in your life right now but I hope things look up and you feel better each day from here on out.
Gorgeous picture of the tree btw!!
That misty pic looks so magical. Very lovely. You should post some of the pics of the home design stuff you've been looking at online.
I'm having a hard time being motivated to do anything else but just wish for cool things for my home.
take care girl
Those are beautiful pics. I know what you mean sweetie. Sometimes we need a break from this craft world hustle and bustle. We just wanna live a simple life once in a while. You are excited for a new place to call home and that is wonderful. It will all fall back into place soon. Love ya sweetie!

you know, whenever i remotely think of moving i have a massive panic attack and stop functioning -- and that's just at the idea of it.
have heart, it's a process indeed. take you time.
I understand the dragging feet thing, good luck with getting everything done! And good luck with the move, it's coming up isn't it?
Beautiful pictures. I'm glad you could squeeze in a quick trip with the craziness of moving. Thanks for all your inspiration- you are quite the crafty lady and I love reading your blog.
I'm right there w/you on the moving! Now I'm moved in but dragging my feet about getting it all put away! It's too much sometimes...
I love the picture of the bikes. Very cool.
oh my dear. I was right there just a few short months ago...you are spot on...let it run its course...but i will tell you...it also brings clarification and revelation...so be excited for that! your new life will be enlightened if you let yourself be inspired by this change!!

I think it might be something a lot of people are feeling right now. I enjoyed seeing your photos.
Beatiful pics! I especially love the tree shot!
Aw, I know from many many encounters with moving house, that is super weird to process...for me it's a stressful, sometimes depressing adventure. But I can honestly say that I've never looked back on a move and not found something to laugh about or learn from :)
Hang in there, it'll work out.
Hugs! Kinsey
ride the wave, sister, ride the wave.
you will make it. and so will all the schtuff that has to happen between now and then.
I think that youre talented and wonderful! You need to write a book on sewing becauses its such a natural talent of yours!
Here's hoping that your spirit feels better one step at a time, and that you feel more calm and your peacefilled everyday.
Samantha!
I know that it has to be so overwhelming and exhausting right now, but it's going to be worth it!!!! :) I think lots of good things are going to come your way in Mo. :)
And....I can't wait to meet you and for our babies to play together! Hopefully in the next couple of months I will make my way back up, can't wait.
