Road Trip

We're off to see my side of the family in Oklahoma this week so we're packing our bags and looking forward to the next few days in another state. I need a change of scenery every now and then and road trips always mean stopping in to some new flea markets! I plan on knitting away during the five and a half hour drive and Brett is picking up an audio book to keep us company. With so much company to keep Sebastian occupied, I might even finish something.

Tonight I'm tackling the Christmas tree so that when we come home next weekend, we'll be greeted with something merry and bright. My mother-in-law bought this white tree for me this summer at a garage sale so this is its debut. We're adding pink, teal and green ornaments but you'll see soon enough.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving preparations.

Have a fun and safe trip Rachel!

Lol, my tree also has pink, green, and teal decorations. I have used that combo for the past two years, just becuase I like it. Added in a couple splashes of red too as we have lots of red in our decor. I set it up last night. But our tree isn't white, it's pink! It looks SO pretty lit up at night. I think the white ones in the stores look pretty all dressed and lit up too -we might go with white next year. I think it will be hard to part with the pink now though! Can't wait to see yours too!

Happy Thanksgiving :)

I love road trips too. Time to just have a good conversation or listen to some good music.

PS The chair is really great. Who is it by?
