Happy, Pretty Things Are Coming

Red Velvet Art is opening in three weeks! I was at the store this weekend for a mini photo shoot to share some of the product we've been making and I saw something standing in the middle of the room that we'd only talked about for weeks. Suddenly, I realized this store is actually happening! Years and years of talking about it and now it's sitting down there on Commercial street just waiting to surprise us all with its radness. Elsie has worked so hard to make this store special. She's the kind of dreamer that makes things happen and I admire her so much for her determination and resourcefulness.

Above is my latest take on the over-sized bow I made for Cider Days last October. It's been re-styled for maximum sweetness. They'll be available in store and online February 1st. Oh, and have I mentioned that Elsie and I are doing an online class together? YES!!! Check back soon for details.

Adrienne,

I'm pretty sure all items in the store will also be available online. Thanks for the excitement! I'm learning that nothing happens easily on its own and that dreams like this take SO much work and coordinating but its great to be working with someone who is an excellent manager of her resources.

Congratulations! What exciting news -- and your products are so adorable. I LOVE your journals and the sleeping eye sashes. Ah, I wish I lived closer so I could visit the store in person.
