Meet Ashley Ann

Ashley and I went to the same college in central Oklahoma and ran in similar circles, though I was a few years younger. A mutual friend pointed me to her blog a few weeks back thinking I might appreciate a post on sewing dresses out of pillow cases for little girls in Africa and I was pleased to discover a whole new side to this girl! I spent about an hour going through previous posts and came away feeling energized about being a mother, learning new skills, and including others in the process.

I'll save all of the good stuff for you to peruse on your own time but below are a few of my favorite posts from Ashley's blog.

The post that had me hooked.

A peek into her photography classes.

Her fantastic home remodel with touches of mid-century and DIY that make my heart melt.

One of her three adorable sons. Ashley and her husband are expecting their fourth child and first daughter sometime soon!

Quick and easy concoctions for those short on time or patience. That's me!

She's got a beautiful spirit and a tremendous amount of love for her family. I hope you enjoy her blog as much as I did!

Flea market finds from this weekend's unexpected trip to the southern edge of Missouri coming soon. Don't let me forget to tell you about the deer head sitting in my dining room. I'm hoping it will be too dark to see it when I make my 3:00 a.m. trip to the potty.
