Found!

These were found at my favorite flea market on I-44 between Mt. Vernon and Joplin, MO last week. We were on the way to spend Christmas with my side of the family but Brett agreed to let me stop and spend 'just 15 minutes, I promise' looking around. The first stall was full of vintage linens and quilts and even though I wasn't looking for a quilt this one was too beautiful and affordable to pass up. The vintage flat sheets and colorful needlepoint were in the same booth so I felt confident talking the manager down on the total. He was compliant.

It's finds like this that will always make me want to stop. Just in case.

xoxo,
Rachel

I have the yellow/orange/pink flower vintage sheets! They were my mom's when she was younger, and I can't bring myself to cut them up for a project. I love the needlepoint find too!

Sooo craving thrift shops! We have small charity shops, but not the same. I love the treasures that you can find, especially in a really messy shop.

ooohh...love it all! I am actually heading to Joplin thursday afternoon...maybe I should beg my husband to swing in one, because you never know, right?? :) I went to college in Joplin and was always driving back and forth to Springfield. Where do you thrift there? I never knew there was a good place!!

That quilt is so beautiful. It looks like one I have that my mamaw made. I love getting it out and putting it on our bed to keep us a little warmer in colder months.

I think it's called Cimmaron Antique Mall and it's right next to one of those cheesy Ozark fudge and t-shirts stores. Not sure what exit it's on but it's my FAVORITE store.
