Hello, Yellow!

Found on Wednesday at Charley's Flea Market for $10.00 and it works. Ladies and gentlemen, it appears I still have the magic. Thanks, Elsie, for the thrifting date! Oh, and have I mentioned that we're doing an art journal class soon? It's going to be beautiful!

xoxo,
Rachel

p.s. If you've made something from a tutorial you saw on Smile And Wave, I'm collecting them! Just e-mail them to the address listed on my contact page above. Thanks in advance!

Oh you are so lucky Rachel!

I was bidding on a yellow one on Ebay recently but I lost the auction. I am determined to not pay a fortune for one, so I am sticking to my guns.

She looks SO lovely...good for you girl :)

What a lucky find! Right now, I'm making the soft blocks from the tutorial you posted a little while back. I'll have to take a picture of them when I'm finished!

SO ENVIOUS! there is a green royal at our local thrift shop i have been eyeing for a while but it is not in great shape. considering asking them to go down on the price if i ever get the idea that i can fix it. ;D i have a beige olympia right now that my boyfriend found for me for christmas our first year together, however i am not satisfied with just one. must have many more! great find girlie!

We definitely need to tag team someday. As long as it doesn't end up in a brawl over perfect yellow typewriters. :)

I found one similiar in a gorgeous light blue color at a thrift store in Tooele, Utah for $4! It came in the original carry case with ALL the paperwork for it! The certificate of guarantee says it was purchased on December 24, 1964!!
