We had some mutual friends who were dating. They broke up and it was sort of messy, so I would call Caleb in order to sort of send messages to his friend to leave my friend alone. This part of the story is very fifth grade, I know. But I realized along the way that I liked talking to this kid. He was funny and insightful and it made me happy to talk to him. We became telephone friends for about a year. We lived on different coasts so after a while we visited each other. I visited him twice and he visited me once. Over this year we fell in love. It sort of snuck up on us, I think. He moved to my coast and now we have been living together for a little over a year. Still in love.-Emma Chapman
