Morning Announcements

Aura Joon commented about being online twins after reading my About page so I had a peek at her blog. For like an hour. Her About page kind of blew me away. If you have an interest in gardening, photography, and curly hair this is your new favorite blog.

Isabella's Art Journal pages are kind of stunning. I'm really excited about having this little talent take our online class because she's only nine years old. I think she's going to teach us all a little something.

My friend Lacy, another beautiful curly headed girl, is hosting a giveaway from THE Curly Girl. Yes, lots of curly involved in this post! Head over for your chance to win three cards and a necklace from Curly Girl Designs. (hurry! It ends tomorrow!)

I've got more blog topics this week than hours to blog so bear with me as I post away! I've got an artist interview from Essimar, a reader participation post, and some information on a local fundraiser for my friends. Stay tuned!

xoxo,
Rachel

p.s. Kara Lambert, please come to the front office. (I've been trying to e-mail you and they keep getting sent back to me. Can you e-mail me again?)

  8. !!! Thank you so much, Rachel. Honestly, I have never thought about what my blog was in only three words, and to hear you put curly hair, gardening, and photography as my summary makes me smile. Three of my absolute favorite things!

PS, I told you we were twins. :)

  9. Aura,
Oh, I think that just skims the surface. I think the underlying theme that is so obvious is your taste for life, family, simple pleasures, and tending to things you love. Sometime when we're trekking through OK, we'll have to make a point to end up in your direction and visit over coffee!

  16. I love Isabella's pages. It seems there are a few young ones in this class! I remember seeing an 11 year old's pages in the flickr group, and I just posted photos that my 12 year old daughter Brooklyn did. So fun!
