My favorite road trip destination is Multnomah Falls. But, I live pretty close to it now (in Seattle) so I'd say my dream road trip destination would be to drive cross country with my husband and 9 year old chihuahua, Bono Baby to the East Coast. Just to make it to the other side of the country and eat some seafood.

My favorite in-state road trip is to Eureka Springs, AR. I love that town and all the little shops. A little further road trip I'd like to take is to New Orleans, but it'd have to be in early spring or fall because I know the summer would be way too hot!
that's a tough question! i thik i'd have to say california... because driving from here (wisconsin) to there would be the ultimate road trip. i don't think the destination so much matters as the trip itself, and the process. let's take futurehusband's 1967 mercury cougar, please!

I've been itching to have a "just grownups" road trip with the hubby again. We just throw some tents in the car and go, stopping at any state parks, tourist traps, and antique shops we see.

The untimate road trip would be through the Italian country, but a more doable one would be to LA. That would be perfect.
i would love to road trip across the country, from florida, where i live, to california, where i wish i lived! i would stop and camp at different national parks and take as many back roads as possible!

My dream road trip is just a simple cross country trip with my husband and daughter. we homeschool our daughter, so I'd love to just take a year or even six months just to explore our country. From one end to the other, stopping at flea markets, hotels, museums, and whatever else we felt like along the way!
I've always dreampt of renting a RV and taking a road trip across the States, stopping at each museum, park, landmark. We travel a lot, but usually by plane, I think this would be so much more relaxing!

Ive done a similar trip all over europe by train but i would love to do it by road.. screeching along to music is so much more acceptable when youre in your own vehicle!
We took our dream road trip two years ago. We live in Central CA & went up through the Shakespeare festival in Oregon, to Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria & back down the coast. Lovely!

Last summer my boyfriend and I moved from Vancouver, British Columbia back to our home in Nova Scotia. Driving across the country was a dream of ours and we did it! It was a long, crazy, fun adventure and I'm so glad we did it. I'm not in a big hurry to drive coast to coast again so I'd have to say our next dream destination would be into the States. I'd love to visit Portland!
I haven't been further east in the states than Wyoming, so I'd love to road trip across the midwest all the way to the East coast, and down to Myrtle beach.
I want to roadtrip everywhere! But this weekend we are actually going camping in the mountains for my birthday. Can't wait. :]
