sourceSebastian is getting a bigger bed for his birthday so I've been doing some research online to see if he has an opinion on anything. I'm hoping to show him some of these beds in the morning to see which one he likes the most. I've been on the look out for some vintage headboards/footboards because many of them are full sized but keep going back and forth between slightly ornamental or clean lines. I saw one similar to the last photo at Charley's flea market today but it came with a bedroom set and we didn't need the other pieces. I'm thinking I might even be able to get the same effect by having some wood stained and sealed and just attaching them to the metal frame...we'll see.

agreed, there are some amazing bedroom sets at charlie's and yep...only really need a bed, and maybe a small dresser...they're so reasonably priced though!
I love the first one! You could go retro cowboy with that one! Love it!

the fist one is great, i love the frame and bedspread. but the little grey bed is pretty cute too. actually the whole room with the blue floor is great! good luck :)

I LOVE the grey walls and bed! It's like the best base color.
I'm having the exact same problem right now! My 2 year old is going to move into a 'big boy' bed soon, and there is just NOTHING out there that I like! I really look forward to seeing what you choose.

i love that last bed, and even though i have a 5 month old boy, i am already thinking of what style of 'big boy' bed i want to get him!

SO cute!! all of them are just the cutest ever, but especially the first one. I loved it when my kids started to assert some of their personality into their rooms. Hope your bed-hunt goes well!!
My youngest Kiddlywink will be in for his first big boy bed in the next month or two...without a doubt I would go for the first one.
