here in louisiana we have little shacks built on the side of the road aka snowball stands! That is how I like to cool off! its very thinly shaved ice that melts instantly in your mouth! Favorite flavor: wedding cake with condensed milk on top! stuff the center with a little vanilla ice cream and I am good to go!

ReplyDeleteUm, since I'm not by a pool or by the beach, favorite way to cool off is spray bottle and fan! I know sounds lame, but it works! Of course popsicles do the trick as well!
ReplyDeletewhen I'm absolutely so hot I can't stand it..and am stuck inside somewhere, I run both wrists under the coldest tap water I can get it to be - and hold them there as long as I can..... (they say within 30 seconds, all the blood in your body goes through those veins in your wrists as it circulates).... and somehow - I end up feeling much better - cooler and composed enough to keep going.

I know this sounds a bit lame, but my favorite way to cool off is to sit in my knitting chair while the hubby and I watch a good movie. We spend a lot of time outside gardening, so to sit inside is a great treat.
