Paul's Valley, Oklahoma

Hmmm...not sure about this new Blogger set up since I can't easily figure out how to insert text between photos (share your knowledge in the comment section, please!).

We've been hanging out in PV with a day trip to Frisco, TX to visit my cousins/aunt/uncle and wander through IKEA.  Sebastian loved the kids' play space and I loved not having to yell for him to get off the beds or to quit hiding in the display closets.  I picked up a few things for everyone in the family but still haven't quite made up my mind about the larger purchase.  It was nice to see it in real life but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle to get it back to my house.  The whole trip was worth getting to hear about and share in the anticipation of some exciting news having to do with Ruby and Sebastian's future second cousin/s!  Congratulations S and B families!!!

The photos above are a few Hipstamatic shots I took of Sebastian and his favorite part of Paul's Valley.  I used the regular camera on my iPhone for the last two.  I've got some work to finish up tomorrow and the next day while we're hanging out with my family but I'll be back with some eye candy soon!  Thanks for the response to a possible get together/thrifting adventure on a future trip!  I'm brain storming!!

xoxo,
Rachel

I am having issues with blogger too. I don't know how, but eventually it just starts working after a lot of clicking next to pictures and pressing enter, etc. If anyone does have THE answer I'd love to know too!

These photos are gorgeous - looks like so much fun! :)

I giggled when I saw where you were. I grew up in Wayne, Oklahoma just a hop skip and jump from where you were. My daddy was the one cop in town for years so I know that whole area well. :)
& so jealous of your trip to ikea.

You should have traveled a little more south to Duncan/Marlow area. Worlds largest garage sale is going on this weekend. Lots of great deals to be found. =)

I usually write the text beneath the picture before I put the next picture in, it works for the most part. Or else I let the cursor stand on wright side of the picture and press enter, which makes a space beneath the picture. Hope this helps a little.

Momma B,

I think the WHOLE of Ada and Stratford are having garage sales today, too! It seems to be the weekend for it!

I was frustrated too when I couldn't figure out how to insert text between photos and did a little investigating online and I think figured it out! (at least it works for me). After uploading each of your photos, select "edit html" and you will note each photo starts with an "a" in html code. To insert text between the photos, at the end of "/a>/ insert a P in angled brackets and then type your text, and when you're finished inserting the text, insert another P in angled brackets and repeat (unfortunately I cannot give you the exact code b/c the html code cannot be accepted by blogger in this comment.... take a look at "Brynne has feet like her Poppie!" on my blog if you'd like to see how using this code displays text:

Hope this works for you!

rachel... you can set your blogger to go back to the old way (somewhere in your settings) i had to do that long ago because their "new" settings never work easy for mine: http://bestsoylatte.blogspot.com ;))

xo.

true. blogger is giving me headaches. Lots of bugs and something always changes. What I do when i can't insert text under photos is I go to 'edit html' put a space in between photos and then go back to compose and type there.
