  1. That ship is marvelous.

I've loved them ever since my mom told me that "your ship will come in some day." I'm still waiting....(while collecting a great ship piece here and there.)

  11. I live in Oklahoma (Barltesville to be precise) and there is one Goodwill here in town which is mediocre at best.

My family lives in or around OKC so I make frequent trips down. Would you be willing to share your favorite thrift stores and flea markets in the OKC area?

  14. Hey, ya'll!

I don't have ANY favorite thrift stores or flea markets in the OKC area myself! These are only from places on the way to and from Springfield.

Shawnee's stores, however, are always happy to see me. ;)

  16. There's nothing like finding such great embroidered linens amidst a pile of ordinary ones! I often rummage through the linen piles at my favorite places and I "ho-hum...ho-hum" and then my heart skips a little beat when I find pieces as charming as these.

  21. I am sure you have figured this out because you are awesome like that but the center of the flower opens. It is an avon product. That is if your flower is the same as my brooch. Again you found some great items!

  24. Awesome! Well if yours still has some "perfume" (mine did and it smelled awful) the middle part does pop out . I scraped mine clean and it places right back in. Or maybe that is just mine and the glue was loose? Well it is a pretty find and so are the rest of your treasures!
