Giveaway Day - Gingiber

"Hi! Its Stacie from Gingiber! To tell you a bit about myself: I am an artist currently living in Arkansas. I love to doodle happy little critters and characters, bake terribly unhealthy things, and spend time with my sweet family.

If you are like me, the crisp fall air brings the desire to snuggle in a big armchair, sip some cocoa, and dream away ideas while sketching in my notebook. Yet time rarely allows for such a luxury, as I am generally on the go. Instead, I decided to make some mini notebooks that fit easily into my back pocket and be on the go with me! Each handmade notebook features a different forest animal with a great graphic pattern.

And to make this giveaway even more fun, I have also decided to give away one of my favorite handmade plush animals, Olive the Owl. Hopefully she will be a happy companion for one of you lucky readers! You will find even more fun handmade plush animals, as well as an assortment of prints and cards at my etsy shop, Gingiber!

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment with your favorite Fall tradition. A winner will be chosen on Monday!

xoxo,
Rachel

Such cute notebooks, and the owl is ADORABLE! It would be the perfect gift for my niece, who loves owls (and just had an owl-themed first birthday!).

Fun!

Oops, left off my favorite fall tradition. Baking. Somehow it's just more fun to bake in Autumn. Weird?

Georgia Peach said...

At the beginning of every fall, we revert to summer and carve watermelons instead of pumpkins! It's a blast and so much more fun to eat!

Kayla said...

My favorite fall tradition would have to be dressing up for Halloween. I trick-or-treated well into high school and still have to remind myself that I'm TOO OLD. But I still wear costumes, and love them.

These are so beautiful! I tried pumpkin carving for the first time last year (no-one does that in Australia, or really does a lot to celebrate Halloween at all) but my husband and I decided to have a carve-off, it was great fun! New tradition alert :)

Okay....I really hope I win!

My favorite fall tradition started four years ago. It's a Chili and Pumpkin Carving Party. I make home made chili with tons of optional fixins to add in. The guests bring any favorite autumn side dishes. Then we carve our pumpkins. It's lovely. And I can't wait for the party this year.

My favorite fall tradition is taking all my friends to a local pumpkin patch and taking the funnest hayride through huge hills and tons of mud to pick pumpkins!

Mim Smith Faro said...

Even though my kids are too big to play in the Kid Area, we still go to the local orchard as a family, watch the little kids play, listen to some great live music (often involving stringed instruments!), and take a hayride through the apple orchard to the pumpkin patch where we each search for our favorite pumpkin. Hub then carves pumpkins with the kids following there interpretations and comes up with something wacky for his own. Last year he did the big jack biting the small jack. We had so many people ask to take its picture!

I'm looking forward to doing this in the next two weeks :)

That owl, so cute and I have a weakness for anything paper :-)
My favorite fall tradition, besides the baking, is our big family apple picking trip. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all get together for some "organized chaos" and memory making. And of course all the picking still leads to baking so I"m double happy. :-)
