Doll House Inspiration

Dolls House
source

I put Ruby's doll house together yesterday morning while she climbed all over me trying to help. She's already taken to scaling it like King Kong and has decided the second story is a good sitting spot. Oh my...

I was truly taken aback with this photo above. I love the styling and simplicity of it. It's the kind of place I'd want to display all of my treasures. Doll house post coming soon!

I can't wait to see your dollhouse! I just got so excited to make a dollhouse and I don't even have a reason... but I think that's the sign of true inspiration :)

When I was little my mom took the bottom off of my dollhouse and stuck it to a plastic bin that I could fill with water, and then I had a mermaid house! I loved that thing :)

My girls have a huge doll house (for their LIV dolls) and then a smaller one for the Little People. My favorite find though is the house shaped shadowbox we are going to use in the girls' room and fill it with all their treasures.

Dear Rachel,
I love your blog.
I love that you are a Mummy, but your thoughts on your family and parenting are delightful, and insightful as well as realistic, rather than overbearing or insular.
I love your pictures, and the clean, fresh way that you use your words.
Thank you for your creativity, and your inspiration :)

Oh I love this ... reminds me of the one I had when I was a kid ... I used my bookshelf as a dollhouse and rigged my own elevator that went between floors. I loved it. Can't wait to see yours :)
