I Heart Red Velvet

For The Red Velvet LookBook
For The Red Velvet LookBook
I had fun in the Red Velvet studio with Elsie, Emma, and Mallory Friday night doing a little photo shoot for the Red Velvet lookbook and some items from the spring line! My hair is Cherry Truffle flavored again and I love that I no longer have roots showing. Styling and photos by Elsie.

I spent a good chunk of today picking up and purging our house of unnecessary items and getting rid of more boxes from the move. It feels like we're making progress! I'm going to be in my studio all week painting my chalkboard thought bubbles to get them stocked and ready for spring weddings and finishing up my mood board for my blog makeover. If I play my cards right I'll be able to finish up a DIY for kids this week and have another great interview with another wildly creative mama!

We DID get to go bowling, still have our fort up, and enjoyed some chocolate but it was in the form of No Pudge brownies and quite tasty! Bowling pics coming soon! How has your weekend been?

xoxo,
Rachel

Oh, what a cute new shade. This weekend I've made some serious progress on my very FIRST granny square blanket, and much thanks goes to you for all the sewing and yarn-crafting inspiration!

Feel free to hop on over to my blog and take a peek at my squares. :)

Beautiful picture!

I almost bought No Pudge brownie mix today, ended up sticking with the fattening Ghiradelli version. :)

We DID go bowling this weekend but no forts or hot chocolate.

I love the photos! You look gorgeous (as usual). :)

Also, bowling is so much fun! I adore bowling shoes and wish I didn't have to give them back when I'm done, haha.

My husband and I were on Commercial Street and saw the BRIGHT camera flashes from across the street. I felt a twinge of jealousy, but I still love you. :P

We had a nice weekend over here. I baked a pie with the help of the babe (she pulled on my apron while I worked) and then we had the house full of company. Lots of love going around <3

You're looking mighty cute in those snapshots Rachel!
