We got a Valentine's box in the mail from my mom yesterday that had presents for everyone! There was a little box with these red shoes in it and I said, "Look! Red shoes for Ruby! And they're vintage!" Then I saw the note that said they used to be mine. EVEN BETTER!
She also sent one of my old baby dresses that I put on Ruby this morning to see if it fit and to get some fun pictures. Thanks, Mom!

ReplyDeleteTheres a Oshkosh overall tradition in my family. Every baby in my family (cousins etc.) has taken a portrait in the same overalls at the same age for the past 34 years! Its really neat to look at all the pics!

ReplyDeleteHow gorgoeous is your Mum for keeping and sending your old baby gear to you. I know I'm going to be like that. I have 3 kids and have kept their baby clothes, up to size 1 and am planning to make memory quilts out of them and keep some of the special ones to give them when they have children.
super cute!! We have some handmade knits (that were my husband's...he's German) that he wore when he was a newborn, and we totally took pics of our kids in them too, I love it, and I can totally see the resemblence!! Keep those cute baby pics comin'!
