Throughout the next two weeks I'll be posting stories from some of my favorite blogging friends in a series titled Love Notes. I'm a sucker for romance...
We had some mutual friends who were dating. They broke up and it was sort of messy, so I would call Caleb in order to sort of send messages to his friend to leave my friend alone. This part of the story is very fifth grade, I know. But I realized along the way that I liked talking to this kid. He was funny and insightful and it made me happy to talk to him. We became telephone friends for about a year. We lived on different coasts so after a while we visited each other. I visited him twice and he visited me once. Over this year we fell in love. It sort of snuck up on us, I think. He moved to my coast and now we have been living together for a little over a year. Still in love.

Emma Chapman's foodie blog usually makes me want to try her latest vegan recipe. She's met Jack Black, knows how to work the thrift stores, and never minces her words. It's one of my favorite things about her.
