Family Week

We've done one side and on Saturday we'll do the other. What did you do for Thanksgiving?

Lovely to see that you were with family!

We went on a morning hike through the mossy forest, chatted with faraway family via cell phone, left our turkey out in its brine on our back deck (covered, so as to prevent any pine needles from falling in), and enjoyed dinner with many candles to light our way last night. It was a simple and beautiful Thanksgiving, just the two of us.

Was looking through your inspirational Flickr photostream tonight just before I went to yoga--wore a turquoise top to class and thought of you. :)

I was inspired by your vintage tree, and posted one of my own! Found your blog thru Elsie...you are inspiring. Thanks.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with my husband's family, who invited their Jewish friend to join in the festivities with us. She sang the blessing over our meal, then explained the meaning. It was really moving! We enjoyed getting to share the day with her.

:) I spent every day at my Mom & Dad's with 25 of my family members crowded in. Katie and I were getting over colds and she's cutting her molar teeth (she was grrrrrroouuchy!!) It was a tad stressful because of that but otherwise it was wonderful. :)

Your Thanksgiving looks like it was perfect (family, food tasting imp at the table,... :D) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your vintage tree (previous post)!

Loved seeing your holiday photos. I had a nice relaxing day. Did a little scrapbooking and then went to my family dinner with 28 people total! I spent most of my time sharing photos from my European trip. I should have taken more at Thanksgiving.
