Chito

This was the gift I made for Sebastian the day before Christmas. The gift that was almost not packed at my in law's house to take to my grandparent's house to put out on Christmas morning. The gift that I probably like more than Sebastian since it doesn't have wheels or come with a track. While thinking of a name for him, Chito kept coming to mind. While Chito is not necessarily a French name, I think it suits him.

I saw a cat get hit by a truck this morning. I'm not particularly fond of cats myself but it was a little heart breaking to have seen it's last moments alive.

I've got little else for you today. Most of our holiday pictures at various families' houses involved a flash, half open eyes and a lot of blurry pictures of my sugar-filled son. It's telling that he's learned to say 'Pepsi' this week.

Does anyone have any New Year's Eve plans?

Aww how cute.Well if it's any consolation, my boyfriend and I use the word 'chito' as another word for 'kiss'. 'chitos' would be kisses!!!

sadly, no new years plans, my gym is opening up from 10pm to midnight so i might go there, it's too cold here in New Hampshire to do anything fun outside.

He is super cute!

No plans for New Year's Eve so far. Everyone is either out of town or too tired. Gonna have to think up something fun over the next few days... :)

oh I like Chito, he's charming. I'm sure S will learn to appreciate all the wonderful things his hip mom made for him, in the future. :)

I'm going to an 80's theme new years party, and I am soooo pumped. We're talking heart shaped glasses, leg warmers, bomber jackets and feathered bangs! yesss. :) It will be fun. What about your plans Rachel? You and your friends seem to know how to throw awesome parties!

that's soooo cute! i love his tiny mustache! my husband thinks "he's adorable!!!"

no new year's eve plans for us really... we'll be traveling to oregon for an in-person interview with a company there. so i suppose our plans include trying to get our 15 month old asleep in a place that's not her crib, and 2 days after she gets shots... fun stuff... i can't wait.

what about you? are you guys planning any spectacular parties?

oooh-so sorry to hear about the cat. i witnessed the same with a dog on the highway and it ws disturbing. so--i feel ya.
on a happier not--your doll is ADORABLE! even if sebastian isn't into him right now, you should totally keep him and tuck him into his dorm room when he goes to college. he prpbably won't admit it then, either, but he will be happy to have a piece of his mama with him.

Chito is adorable. I have some tentative plans. I've been invited to a party but due to some unstable things going on with my grandma I'm not committing until closer to the actual date. I adore your family photos in the post below. Your hair looks fab!
