We're Waiting

Hello, Rachel. This is your husband. I've broken into your blog. I just wanted to let you know that as I've made leftover turkey sandwiches, lounged on the couch, and spent time with our family members I've also periodically checked your blog. You know, this one? The one you've been skipping out on to go thrifting and shopping and Benjamin Button-moving-watching? Yes, well, I think it's safe to say that we'd all love to see some of the pictures and hear some of the stories you're so good at telling.
We're ready when you are.

Love,
Brett

I loved Benjamin Button. Loved it as much as I've loved any movie this year. Its probably one of my top five because it was such an unusual story line and left me feeling a happy sadness.

I can appreciate why someone wouldn't want to take a chance on it in theaters. My mom didn't want to see it. Its interesting and full of love and a little sadness throughout. The acting was superb. I won't watch it again for six months, though. Its one of those that takes a lot out of you.

Four out of five stars from me.

Rachel, thank you for your review on Benjamin Button.

I have been wanting to see it, but I am one of those people who get "emotionally involved" in movies :) I was half expecting to come out of the theatre with tears streaming down my face, and seems that I may just be right. I will make sure I see it at night time and am the last one out of my seat so no one sees me ;D

I'm with Brett - c'mon, who can resist Brad Pitt?! He was so dreamy-looking in "Legends of the Fall". I fell in love with him and that movie all over again when I saw it on tv last week. *sigh*

HAHAHA I know, I am pathetic, you don't need to tell me twice!

Aaaanyway, enjoy your holidays Rachel :)

We watched Benjamin Button last night, I loved it, really, story telling at its finest, I love that Brett can appreciate the beauty of Brad Pitt, I never really did until this film. I actually sobbed at the end, hysterically sobbed. I can't recall another movie having that kind of effect on me...
