Lollygagger

When you count back three fingers on your hand and realize that's how many days it's been since you've left the house, it's time to get in the car with your husband and son and go to your local coffee house and then spend at least 30 minutes in your second favorite flea market.

It's been really fun to be running errands lately, but obviously not in the last three days, and have a sales person ask what I'm making with ALL OF THAT ______(insert crafty material) and mention the new store and have them say, "Oh, the one on Commercial St."

Both our regular and fill in postman have noticed we have had a lot of packages showing up for Red Velvet something or other and looked up our blog and recommended taking advantage of their small business shipping options. Really? That's what I call service!

We're going to have a high of 16 degrees on Thursday. If that isn't worth looking forward to, I don't know what is.

Lexi from Nixa, MO here. I am DYING to know what flea markets you frequent. I love to go "junking" and don't know where is the best place to go in Spfd. Would LOVE a suggestion or 2! Or 3 or...ya know :)I grew up in West Plains so always did a bit of thrifting there and in Thayer and Hardy,Ark. Sounds like you've been in that neck of the woods too!Really thrilled to live so close to the RV store! How exciting for you all!

Seventeen degrees is unfathomable to me, coming from Florida!

I don't think I've commented before, so I will say it now: you have some really fantastic stuff. Like most people who read, I hope for all the best with your new business endeavors. I admire your bravery - it's been taking me months upon months just to convince myself to start up an Etsy shop!

I can't even imagine all of the wonderful things you're creating for the store - what city will it be in exactly? Might be worth a road trip some day!

I can't begin to imagine the excitement you all must be feeling about opening the new store. Gosh I'm sure it's probably one of the most exhiliatating experiences ever. I'm so happy to share in your excitement.

BTW, I love that you show pictures of your house un-tidy. It makes me feel like less of a failure and more of the creative type that I am. ;-)

Jessie,
We're in Springfield, MO. I know you like vintage so you'll have to come prepared to haul home some treasures!

I can't believe those sneaky sneaky postmen taking advantage like that. But on the bright side people know about the store opening -that has to be so gratifying. Congrats...

You have the coffee table I go to Goodwill twice a week looking for! It's really cool that you have friends you can do this with. It's shockingly hard to make friends like that as a grown-up.

Your house is such an inspiration to me. I suddenly want to use far more colour in my home than I previously have. I am moving in a few weeks so I have the perfect opportunity to re-vamp my decor.

My fiance teases me because I could spend days without leaving our house.

I'm also taking you and Elsie's online class!
