Type, Hype, Skype, Ripe

vI was getting really tired of looking at the last blog post so I decided to post this picture of my typewriter. It's the prettiest one I've ever found so I won't mind if I have to go three more days before the next meaningful blog post. I hope you don't either.

Today (if you're reading this on Tuesday) is too much special for my little words to match so I am just going to sit back and enjoy the festivities and feel happy in my heart for the celebrations that are taking place.

It is Monday...but I, too, am looking forward to Tuesday!

Meanwhile, I will enjoy the awe and wonderment that is your typewriter.

WHERE did you get that nifty typewriter?!? I collect them and I'd love to find a colored one. :)

Um, my father-in-law picked it up in Southern Missouri at a flea market. Keep your eyes peeled, I guess.

My family had one like this growing up. I remember attempting my first novel on it. :) Funny to think back to all of the pages of type. I used erasable type writing paper. We also had a Commodore 64 w/ a dot matrix printer, but my brothers kept that in their room.

The typewriter was like my modern day laptop, portable. Typewriter fonts are near and dear to my heart.
