Thought Bubble chalkboards! These would be fun for any space but I think even more fun for photo shoots. They'll be available in the shop on Friday for the big Grand Opening event and online shortly after. Some people have had trouble ordering from the new website but Elsie and her tech support are working hard to figure out how to make things run smoothly. If you're making the trip to Springfield, MO to come see us at the big event, I'll keep my eye out for you.
Elsie invited me over to 'co-host' an interview by a local news station (KSPR... 10pm tonight if you are local!) this morning. It was pretty fun seeing the process and getting to take part in the buzz about the new shop! I think it'll be online soon for those of us who don't have T.V.'s. (photos by Vanessa)
I'm hoping to catch up on e-mails and household responsibilities starting Sunday. Saturday is my official, scheduled, written in stone, day off where the only thing I might make is a pot of coffee. More important, it will be mostly devoted to spending some much needed time with my boys who have kept each other company these last three weeks as we've worked through the count down to shop time.

it's funny- every morning i come into work and the FIRST thing i do is check on the store's progress through all of your sites/flickr accounts, etc. you guys are so amazing!
