Oooh, I Can't Wait To Find Out

I feel pretty comfortable with boys. I helped raise a little boy before I had my own so most of my baby/toddler experience has been with boys. I know that I don't like royal blue but every other kind of blue. I know that I never want a sports themed room or clothes with cartoons on them. Having a girl would be new territory for me. I know that I like pink but not soft pink. I like ruffles but not 80's ruffles. I like lots of prints and patterns and skirts and leggings and headbands. However, girls are new territory. Not that I'm not up for the challenge! Here are a few things I've had my eye on for one or the other.

For A Sweet Little Girl

Dwell Studio Stroller Blanket

************
For a Handsome Little Boy

One of the best gift registries I've seen online right HERE.
One of the best catalogs for little people. Appropriately named Small Magazine.

This is the only purchase I've allowed myself before finding out the gender of our baby. I first saw it on OhDeedoh and practically got in the car to go to Michael's thirty minutes later.

And since we're on the topic of little people, I thought I'd share this cute idea for summer sweets.

I love the Tiny Toms. I never knew about them. Thanks for introducing them to me. I went to their website. I'm interested to know where the shoes are made. I couldn't find it anywhere on the site. Do you know?

The granny square quilt is so beautiful. I am going to have to learn how to crochet.

My first child was my boy, Elton.
When I was told I was having a girl I was a little scared (but also very excited) because I was used to a boy.

Now, I don't know what I would do without my Audrey.

Cute picks! Isn't it fun imagining??? My little baby is 3 months old and I have to stop myself from buying him any more stuff. He has way too much, but there are way too many cute things ;)

I LOVE the granny square blanket! I started making one, but ended up moving on to other projects. This has inspired me to start back up again.

Do you have any baby names picked out?

My second child Is a girl, she's almost 2 mths and it's awesome! Are you going to find out what you are having? If you have a girl think of all the craftiness you could do with her? Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I love all the stuff you picked. I have a nine month old boy and it's so hard to find stuff that isn't gross and pastel-y. I will not put my little man in that baby shade of blue nor will there ever be an occasion where he needs those awful white baby shoes. All the stuff you picked was perfect! Those tiny toms are the cutest! Have fun picking stuff out!

You have wonderful girl taste! I love that play suit. I think just going with what you would like is also going to be great for your girl especially since you have to send some time looking at her and her things. :) Lovely selections.
