Big Girls Don't Cry

Unless you're 26 weeks pregnant and there are ants on the counter. AGAIN.

The hormones hit hard this week and I've been up and down and back again more often than usual. Brett has been so gentle with it all. Thankful for him.

Um, I'm not pregnant, but, ahem, emotional, and have been trying to get rid of these ants for weeks now- called exteminator-didn't fix the prob, bought ant traps, still not fixed. I think I may just move! Good luck and let me know if you find the magical trick to make them disappear!

I recommend checking out the Young House Love blog. Run a search on ants, and you will find a whole post on nontoxic, household ant deter[ants]. I have used cinnamon sticks and they worked well. The recommendation was cinnamon, but I didn't want the mess everywhere. I did not have a competing food source for them though (in our office).

um... or if you're only 5 weeks pregnant and your husband asks you to turn the light out when you leave a room... that could be considered a tad ridiculous, tho

Agreed. I am not pregnant, but also up and down, AND we have ants e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. It is so annoying. Down the hall, in the bathtubs, counter tops, carpets, clean clothes. Everywhere BUT the kitchen. They make NO sense.
