Big Girls Don't Cry
Unless you're 26 weeks pregnant and there are ants on the counter. AGAIN.
The hormones hit hard this week and I've been up and down and back again more often than usual. Brett has been so gentle with it all. Thankful for him.
Um, I'm not pregnant, but, ahem, emotional, and have been trying to get rid of these ants for weeks now- called exteminator-didn't fix the prob, bought ant traps, still not fixed. I think I may just move! Good luck and let me know if you find the magical trick to make them disappear!
Aaaw...but you just look so cute! How can he resist! :) he he. Hang in there! You need my nephew - he was catching ants like crazy this weekend, pinching em in his fingers and everything...lol. Happy day!
GRITS! Google it...we've been under attack lately too and we spread it all along the house outside and the yard and it's helped a TON! Still have them here and there but nothing like before...GOOD LUCK!
sounds like we're going through the saaaame thing!! (not the ants the emotional roller coaster of pregnancy...) it's hitting me this week too!! got love our awesome husbands!!
I LOVE YOUR NEW BLOG LOOK! I have oh so much to share with you about my latest adventures... and I think they will go right along with all your hormonal changes. BTW I cry all the time and I am not pregnant so you are in good company! Love you
aawwe my first baby is 4 months old. so i still vidly remember the emotional bits. hope you feel better! congratulations by the way! eager to see pictures of your baby.
I recommend checking out the Young House Love blog. Run a search on ants, and you will find a whole post on nontoxic, household ant deter[ants]. I have used cinnamon sticks and they worked well. The recommendation was cinnamon, but I didn't want the mess everywhere. I did not have a competing food source for them though (in our office).
Ugh.... I hear ya! On both counts! Only I've got ya beat by 3 weeks....we're getting close though! Only one more trimester of stupid emotional breakdowns... :)
um... or if you're only 5 weeks pregnant and your husband asks you to turn the light out when you leave a room... that could be considered a tad ridiculous, tho
Agreed. I am not pregnant, but also up and down, AND we have ants e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. It is so annoying. Down the hall, in the bathtubs, counter tops, carpets, clean clothes. Everywhere BUT the kitchen. They make NO sense.
oh tell me about it! i cry about everything. something for the most embarrassing reasons while i am out with friends that i have to fake that my eye hurts. these hormones are just ridiculous! but what is even more ridiculous is ants! i hate ants!!!
