Five Down...

Recipe for a successful gift wrapping session:

* Beautiful wrapping paper from Target with Kraft paper to mix and match.
* Shiny, sparkly ribbon
* Appropriate gift wrapping tools
* Hot chocolate
* A Christmas station on Pandora
* A three year old helper who unrolls the entire roll of Kraft paper because he wants to play with the tube. And then discovers there isn't one.

Have you started wrapping yet? Are you still gathering?

xoxo,
Rachel

Haha. I kind of hate wrapping, so I will probably wait until the last minute. I do intend on using brown craft paper and pretty yarn though. Yours look great!

I'm waiting until the last minute this year, living dangerously. Great paper.

Oh poor Sebastian!! The tube is the best part.
My hubby is a genius. We spent the extra 10 cents and got the tape on the wheely thingy. Why I have not thought of this sooner is beyond me. All those years of sticking tape to the furniture and cursing when the tape curls up and gets stuck. No wonder there is brandy in the egg nog. I need it.

wrapping sucks. i love to unwrap pretty things though so i make myself do it. i love target wrapping paper! last year i got a kit with mix-and-match paper/bows/tags, etc.... there was plain kraft paper, then kraft paper w/ red polka dots, then coordinating rafia, paper tags, etc... it was perfect. i didn't even have to get creative. i like getting creative, but i don't do as well under pressure.

your wrapping looks lovely!

um yeah, still gathering and making. went to a craft fair tonight and found good deals on scarves and also found the cutest dolls with traditional Chinese folk dress from different provinces. Darling.

thankfully, due to one after-Christmas gathering, I'll be able to pick up some after Christmas sales on some gifts. I'm actually just trying to get the cards in the mail.

pretty wrapping papers are [one of] my favs.

I bought the wrapping paper today! I have had all my shopping done for a while now... but I'm being patient with the wrapping, because I know I have an impatient 2 yr old. :) Can't wait!
