We left my in-laws house to get home to Springfield, MO with a light snow falling but twenty minutes into it realized we would be straining to see the road markers the whole way as we drove into the snow storm further and further. We got about 40 miles away when we decided it was not worth risking an accident and turned back. So, you're getting the 'life changed our plans' blog post substitute. Regular programming will resume tomorrow.
I love snow plows.

Better safe than sorry, as they say. Those white outs can be pretty scary, especially at night.
Aww I'm sorry that happened on your way back.
I don't know much about snow because I've never lived where it snows so yeah lol. xD

sometimes forced rest is nice. take advantage of the extra time with the in-laws.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! Thanks for using my picture though. :)
We drove back from Jefferson City last weekend, and it wasn't snowing nearly as hard, but was incredibly difficult. Safe travels!
It's good to be flexible. Stay safe and warm!
Beautiful picture! We're snowed in at our little house in the country. It's been nice for one day, but I don't think we can handle more than one day of being house bond. Hope you make it safely home.
