Perhaps I am like 2 years behind on this trend, but I think owls should never go out of style. I've been sewing little plush owls and doodling enough funny little owls to meet anyone's hoot quota for the month. So today I am offering one of my newest items, an "Owl Alphabet Poster". What a sweet poster!
My daughter has a small collection of owl stuffies and puppets (barn, grey, burrowing, snowy). Her collection began soon after we visited a local wildlife rehabilitation centre that specializes in injured owls and other birds of prey. This organization attempts to treat and rehab the birds until they are well enough to be released back into the environment. However, if they are unable to return to the wild, they remain on site to act as education birds for the public and local schools, or as foster parents for abandoned babies. My daughter has even been saving some of her allowance each week to donate to this amazing organization.
