Favorite road trip snacks are the one that my man's mom packs for us when we leave her house. She thinks we will be on the road for days when in fact its less than 8 hours. Sandwiches, cheese and peanuts oh my!

My hubby and I love to make trail mix when we hit the road. Another fav is banana bread. It is great as a breakfast treat or as a snack.

My fav. road trip snack has to be tomato, pepperoni, mayo, lettuce, mustard, chili sandwiches! I made some this weekend when my dad, my sis and I took a road trip to the other side of Fl. LOVED THEM! I also love to drink home made ice tea (strawberry one) on road trips.

those gummy, sugar-covered orange slices bring me back to road trips when i was young - it was one of the only times we got them and i could gobble them up!

Id have to pull a parent trap and say peanutbutter and oreos, most definitely.

They make the perfect snack for any trip, and with as much peanut butter as my mother sent me off to college with, it's a broke college student's best friend during exams, too!
