Weekends Are For Moving Slowly
Maybe you've seen it or maybe you haven't and you'll enjoy it as much as I did. I discovered it here after following a few links. It's been awhile since I've been ALONE alone (hello, children!) but I found it beautiful and thought provoking all the same.
And off topic, if you haven't heard Best Coast's music you'll want to meander through it as soon as possible.
xoxo,
Rachel

First time I have seen this! Had to watch it several times on account of it's amazing-ness!!! Thank you for sharing!
i LOVE being alone.
being alone = being truly myself - ie, not nose-wiper, cook, cleaner, negotiator, comforter, diaper-changer...etc - just me :)
what a wonderful thing to share, thank you. it is something i really needed to see.
Thank you for sharing that. I moved three years go from Los Angeles to New Zealand on a whim. All my family is back in the states. I have been on my own for a long time. It's been hard. This made me feel a bit better :)
Wow, this is beautiful. I am not every really alone either (yeah, kids). but this video is so wonderfully written and visually interesting. thanks so much for sharing it!
Nice video. But seriously, I haven't been alone in 4 1/2 years. Some time alone is the only thing on my wish list.
I was linked this video earlier this week, it was instantly favorited on my youtube account! Not only does it offer a refreshing perspective, but every piece of advice is absolutely true.
I love this video :)
I loved that. Thank you.
I am a huge introvert (I like people and can handle big groups and stay at home with two small children, too; but get 'recharged' when I'm alone)
so that was very meaningful to me.

I love alone time. A lot of people don't understand how healthy it can be to spend some time alone once in a while. Recharge the batteries. Thanks for sharing.
Love this~ it's magic! Hope you had a wonderful, slow weekend!
i saw this last week on a friends blog, and it made me kind of teary eyed. i had my daughter when i was 16, and now i have a 2.5 year old son... so i am never alone. ever. and i haven't been in a really, really long time, haha. i sort of envy this girl, and anyone who lives a life like hers. but it also makes me appreciate my husband and children and their constant companionship too <3
i hadn't seen that before but i love the peace that comes along with it <3
ok.. this is going to be a regular thing for me here in a couple of weeks. i'm not used to being alone. this year both of my girls will be in full-time school and i will find myself wondering what to do during my days. this helps so much! thank you friend.
xo.
i really love this video. i enjoy alone time, and even thrive in it, but after moving out on my own, i have found myself with more alone time then i want. learning to be alone when you don't want to be is a challenge, but this video helps in those moments of solitude. also, this is like the third time this week i have been told i need to check out best coast. i think i need to get on that. :]

You really made my sunday better with this post. I watched the video and listened to Best Coast on pandora. Just what the doctor ordered for a blah day.
