I Used To Wear OshKosh

Ruby!
I found these OshKosh pants a few months ago and they finally fit this growing little girl.

OshKosh Heart Pockets!
I love the railroad conductor look but my favorite part are these heart-shaped pockets!

Her Version of Crawling
I paired them with Ruby's brown Mary Jane's from Old Navy last year and I'm afraid it's the last time those feet will fit into them.

Somebody Give Me A Ride!
With so many vintage dresses in the closet it was getting hard to want to put them on her when all she wanted to do was crawl through the dirt in the front yard so these pants are going to get their fair share of play time.

Checking For Squirrels
I'm not sure how much OshKosh was in my little girl wardrobe but I distinctly remember having a pair of OshKosh overalls. It was the typical mid-eighties wardrobe staple, right? ;)

xoxo,
Rachel

What a peanut!! I wore all sorts of OshKosh! I have a pair of my baby OshKosh overalls that I just found. Unfortunately, I think Briar is already too big for them :(

I had OshKosh overalls- my mom said some of her older Midwestern relatives were a little scandalized that a little girl would be dressed in farmer-gear! My little girl had some for about 5 minutes before she grew out of them :(

My husband's grandpa still wears a pair of oshkosh overalls. it's a tradition now for all the great grandkids to wear oshkosh when they visit. my kids will wear them for the next few years at least.

Oh those are precious! My Sofi (15 months) has a pair of pink OshKosh overalls but its a dress, so sweet!

OshKosh and Keds were the essential 80s wear I think!

Speaking of shoes, Ruby and Sofi have the same Circo flowered shoes from Target..do they make her feet smell like a teenage boys?! Oh my gosh my daughter's little feet are terrible when she wears those shoes!

my family had a pair of red oshkosh overalls-- my two older cousins wore them, i did, my two younger cousins did-- and then they got lost. boo. would have liked to have started strapping the kids' kids into them too.

How adorable :) I definitely had a pair of blue and white striped OshKosh overalls, and I was born in 1991!

I am going to bet your little ruby is going to have curly hair-simply because she is still so bald! My own little girl was too until about almost 18 m-and now she has an afro if i'm not careful-luckily i'm learning the tricks to making it pretty-you of course will already know how to tame her mane:)

Rubyyy! She's so cute, and I love those overalls. We have a pair we're waiting for our 10 month old to grow into. Waiting, waiting....

I was hoping you could remember where you got the trike that's in one of the photos from, or could tell me what brand it is? For Jonah's 1st birthday (a week before Christmas) we'd love to get him a trike, or something he can sit on and push along with his feet. I've been looking for plastic alternatives and I'd thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Janet,
My parents got it from Wal-Mart two Christmases ago but I'm sure they still sell them. They aren't top quality, though as one of the wheels rides slightly bent but it might also be that Sebastian is rough with his bike!

Good luck with your search!

i am dying over these pants! according to my mother-in-law oshkosh also had a line of fabric, patterns, & tags to make your own...which she did for her boys back in the day. i was bummed to find out she hadn't kept any of them.

I had Osh Kosh navy corduroy overalls with pink flowers. They were so awesome. I have friends that have interned at Garan and designed this fall's garanimals!
