I'm not sure how many Breyer horses from my childhood collection are left in the box in my parent's attic but they brought two of my favorites last November for Ruby's birthday party. She likes to romp them around and feed them from her cup and has even tried riding one. I love seeing her take an interest in things that used to be mine!
Horsey kisses look a lot like mouth-to-mouth at our house.

Rachel
P.S. I'm really thankful for so many fabulous sponsors this month! I give you permission to take a break from your day and peruse a few of their shops and blogs. It'll be worth your while!

She is wayyy too adorable.
My grandmother used to have a box of those horses - I think they have long since been thrown away :(
so cute!
what's weird is i have a dress in the EXACT fabric as that chair.
What an adorable little lady! You have inspired me to take the time to photograph my stepson more often!
By the way, as a really, really new blogger, I LOVE this site! Normally I am shy about responding to the posts on blogs...but you are so genuinely approachable! Thanks!
Ruby is definitely your little "mini me"!! She looks identical to the photo of you at the top of your page! What a doll baby!
So adorable! I also love the pairing of Ruby's headshot next to yours in the sidebar!
She is the absolute image of you - especially in the first shot! (my boys not only look nothing like me but they look nothing like my OH either!!!)
Loving your blog

Hi Rachel! I've been a follower of your blog since Ruby was born and seeing these pictures are just making me wonder where the time has gone? She's adorable. And my husband and I just finished Toy Story 3... have you seen it? If not, DON'T. I'm not a mother YET (hopefully SOON!), but I sobbed. Like, ugly cry face sobbed.
Thanks for sharing so much with your readers! Love it! Oh and by the way, my goal of 2011 was to learn to sew (seriously) and by a power from above, you guys posted the Home Ec Class! Will be signing up soon! Can't wait!

he he - so sweet! :) My sister & I got to play with my mom's coveted Johnny West horses & dolls when we were a wee bit older, but they were the *best*!! :)
Oh gosh - I LOVED Bryers (*blush* so much so that I haven't yet shared mine with Ella...I really should, huh?) Growing up it was a really special treat to get one because they were expensive.
