Updating my FAQ's Page

Mama*Style
I'd love to hear any of your blog/life/crafty/vintage related questions in the comment section below so I can update my FAQ page and keep it fresh and relevant. I know you guys are DYING to know if I floss my teeth every day. Ha! (For the record, I don't.) Thanks in advance for keeping it polite.

The blog makeover is coming along nicely and will be ready for action tomorrow afternoon!

xoxo,
Rachel

As a relatively newcomer to buying vintage, how do you recommend bringing vintage style into your home without it looking like a museum? (That is a personal fear of mine) :-)

oh, my! that is the cutest photo ever!! my questions are...

1. How often do you floss? hehe
2. How do you get your curls to look so perfectly, perfect? my hair always looks like a giant frizz ball if I don't straighten it.

Thank you! Hope you pick my ?'s

I (along with another commenter) would like to know what an average day in your life is like. How do you seem to get so much accomplished with a home, children, husband to care for? Any tips for time-management?

Soooo cute!!
I'm sure you've answered this already, but I would really like to know how you came in to your personal style.

Well, firstly I have to say that photo is just beautiful! You and Ruby look so cute, and that colour looks GREAT on you!
I would love to know how you stay focused and manage your time with all the different things that fill your days?

well, mine is who your 'celebrity' style muses are? or style muses in general?

although actually i'm only commenting because i so want your whole outfit in this photo? it's perfect, wow!

and even another thing, it would be really nice if it would be possible to comment with name, url and e-mail adress on your new blog and not only with a google account :)

Hey! Can't wait to see the new site.

I'd love to know how you manage blogging, the vintage store, being a mommy and a great wife... You have twitter, flickr, a blog, and more... (so do I and it gets crazy) I wanna be prepared for when I am a wife + mommy too.

Thanks :)))

What types of music, art, or books do you get inspiration from? And do you find yourself doing crafts thats are fast and easier since becoming a mom?

Hi! I love your blog!

How do you find the energy/inspiration to get dressed up every day? I find it difficult to make the effort sometimes.

Thanks for asking for ideas!

Adorable photo! Do you think there is an age limit on your fun style? I always wonder if I could pull some things off or not.

Your blog is so adorable! I have always wondered, what are your favorite vintage shops in the Springfield area?

Good lord that photo is adorable!! At first I thought it was just you and I was thinking - yup, that Rachel girl is really very pretty. But then I saw Ruby and, I'm sorry my friend, but that kid upstaged you. But that's what cute kids do, they upstage their cute mamas. What's that? I'm rambling again? Okay, I have a question then. What is your favourite tool/technique for organized blogging?

PS
My Capthcha thingie is CRACC. hehehe!

I second the curls question - I always wear mine curly but the ends look frayed by the end of the day; how do you keep yours so well groomed?!

How made yourself stand out in the crowd in the blogging community?

How do you do it all (vintage styling, crafty stuff, looking great and having great looking munchkins) on a budget? (Because I think we all know the military isn't handing out large figures in their paychecks!)

I think a lot of us would love your insight on this one :)

I cant wait for the new design! I love the old one so much but it's fun to give your blog a new look after a while. I just redid mine too!

What a cute picture! Love the laid-back yet stylish outfit.
Since I've started reading your blog (a couple of months ago when I first started blogging)I now really want some pretty and colourful vintage type dresses, and tights, cardigans, shoes, bags, etc.
I'm feeling inspired to wear vintage and be more colourful! Who inspires your clothing choices?

When did you start sewing? Do you have any tips for sewing machine beginners? (I plan to take the Home Ec E-course when I save my pennies!)

Thanks,
Mel

love your blog! i was googling how to sew a high chair seat cover and found your post from last year. i have the same eddie bauer high chair that i bought used and it didn't have the cushion (so i don't have a pattern). i was wondering if you could send me the instructions on how you made your cover. would be a huge help! thanks!

Question: WHEN do you craft? When your kids are awake or asleep?

Anonymous said...

Are there any special things to keep an eye out for when vintage shopping? Any hidden gems that will be worth our while even if we don't recognize them immediately?

I would also love to know how you stay inspired when it comes to crafting. I love to do it, but don't always have to oomph when the time is right!

Thank you!

xx. Julia
