Enquiring Minds Want To Know...
Some pretty, pretty burp rags to add some color to this post.
I've been tagged by Charin (pronounced 'Karin').
You know the drill. Here's the list.
1. I ask a lot of questions about the details of the details. Sometimes I think its a disorder :) If you told me you had gone to the mall yesterday, I would ask, "Which mall did you go to?"; "Did you need something or were you just 'fun' shopping?"; "Was it busy?"; "Do you like shopping for hours or are you an 'in and out' person?", etc....I don't know why I do this but its how the small talk part of my brain works. I have to be careful not to ask too many questions with strangers. The problem is, when I get nervous, I just ask more questions.
2. I always leave the visor down in the car. This annoys Brett to no end. He's tall.
3. I can't go to bed before 10:30p.m. unless I'm really sick. It feels wrong.
4. I have to have a lot of light in whatever room I'm in.
5. I have a weak place in my heart for Silk, Chocolate Soy Milk.
6. I am a terrible singer.
7. I secretly wish for straight hair with lots of body.
8. I'd wear my red, mary jane's everywhere if they were that comfy.
9. Sometimes I stutter when I get excited.
10. I like things organized but I can't stand to take the time to organize. Why waste time on cleaning when you can be sewing?
If anyone says, "Me, too", in their head when they read this...show some love and leave a comment. I know there are more visor offenders out there.

I totally relate with #3 & #10!!! lol. great post, lovely burp rags!!!
you are not kidding about the questions. that is the first thing i ever remember about you. it is so sweet though.. i try to do that, but it's not as natural as when you do it! :) you are a pro!
9. Sometimes I stutter when I get excited.
Me too!!! I often think it is my brain getting ahead of my excited mouth. I can't process the stimulus to communicate what I would like to, so I fall all over my words. I did it today at an interview and I hope I didn't wreck my chances ;) Yikes :)
darling girl -- there's no such thing as straight hair with lots of body ... in my world, at least. I'll trade you any day. ...
EXACTLY! what is the visor there for if not to have down doing its visor thing!!! and I stutter when I get nervous!
I can absolutely relate with #3-- I get my 2nd wind around 9 pm, and I'm rarely asleep before 11 -- and #8 (love my red shoes -- wish I wore more red)!
ME TOO! I love red mary janes or black for that matter. Not very comfy tho. I have about ten pair in the closet. I need natural light during the day or it puts me in a funk. Sunlight makes me happy.I hate my semi curly not straight not curly cute hair! I wish it was straight and beautiful! Last but not least I wish i was organized like martha! I envy her and wanted to be like her but i am a messy person and i feel like i would be spending all my time cleanning and organizing and none doing what i love. So i skip it lol!
Aww, thanks for taking the time to do this! :) Loved your answers.
#10 for me! I love being organized and having things cleaned and being all domestic, but I am a procrastinator and I would rather do the fun stuff!
hehehhe... ditto on the visor and the stuttering :D
I can totally relate to the bed-time thing - I like the time alone (or with my husband) after my kids have gone to bed.
I have incredibly straight hair and it has NO body at all - I basically wear it in a pony-tail almost everyday.
And orgainizing, I fall on and off the organizing wagon - right now my studio is a dumping ground for everything I don't know what to do with. Organizing takes time and patience and with 4 year old twins I don't have an abundance of either!!
Love your blog and your 'stuff' - wish I had a baby again so I could use those burp cloths!
FUN list!
i admire your question asking skills.
i used to be that way but it disappeared.
kind of a bummer since i am a counselor for my profession! :)
#4 light light light! oh yes! we actually replaced our screen door with a glass door so i could have the front door open all year round during the day!
#6 horrible singer. beyond belief!
#8 if i HAD red maryjanes i would wear all the time.
but yes, uncomfy shoes are a PROBLEM
i'm with you on #'s 1, 6, and 9! But especially #1! I want to know all the details, and my friends never understand how I know so much about people. It's because people naturally want to talk about themselves, and I just keep asking and asking!
I am a bad singer too, but wish I could rock it!
i can relate with 4, 6, and 10. i used to have to stay up until 10pm, but now i'm able to go to sleep earlier without feeling weird about it. :)
I love your burp rags. My daughter
will be enjoying them in a 8 weeks...
I think more aboutgetting organized than
actually getting it done... I always
have the visor down. I thought every-one else did that too.. I'm
not sure what my hair is doing... I
love your curly hair! I don't have
any mary Janes but I might have worn
them when I was little?! haha
Have a great day!
Hi, I just love your blog, but with a lot of people writing such interest comments, I was shy to write something! But I totally agree with a lot of itens from your list! I hate cleaning the house, washing clothes and ddishes, when I could be here reading your blog, or doing some croche.....
kisses from Brazil!
I don't dislike cleaning, and I love organization. But I want to set up the system of organization, and let someone else maintain it.
I'm all about efficiency and cleaning can take up a lot of time, so that's inefficient to me. I want to get to the place where I can work and do what I'm doing so well (like monetarily also) that I can pay someone to clean so I can do more of what I want to do.
Fortunately, while I'm working to get to that point, my husband is SO stinkin' good at cleaning as he goes along. But this past weekend actually I built in a block of time (like scheduled it) to clean. So that worked this weekend at least. ;)
amen sister on the "red mary janes" and the "organizational skills"
HAHAH. #1 Made me crack up cause thats SO me! It actually drives my friends INSANE! My boyfriend told me tonight "sometimes, there are no details and you want to know details. And sometimes I get so excrutiating on details just to satisfy you." haha.
I also love cleanliness but hate taking the time to clean. I am just naturally a messy person. But i am a germ freak so im a clean messy person, lol.
I think your curly hair is gorgeous. I have straight hair. and I dont have to use a straightner, but if i let it air dry, it will be perfectly straight...with ONE GIGANTIC WAVE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HAIR. Its so annoying. So my hair has alot of heat damage done to it from the blow dryer every day.
I like to leave the visor down to look in the mirror and read the airbag warning 20 times. My dad hates it.
Yep - I totally said "Me too" to some of those answers!! I think that #1 is a very quirky and interesting trait to have!!
1. I ask a lot of questions about the details of the details. Sometimes I think its a disorder :)
Um! this is me... especially with food... "we went out to eat?" what'd you have? Did you get dessert? What'd (the people you were with) have?
haha! i'm glad someone else is with me here!
I ask so many questions too, but how are you ever supposed to know anything if you don't ask? That's how I justify it at least. :) And bed before 10:30 I just can't do it. 10:30 is the earliest I'll go to bed at home and 12:00 while I'm at school. :)
Heh...I don't think any of those are like me.
Me too!!! I can't go to bed before 10:30!
hey rach, I'm so excited about our quilt commission! loved this post... i totally relate to #4 & #8. i dont't leave the visor down, but I hold off on turning the windshield wipers on for as long as possible. it drives my sisters crazy, but i like to watch the rain bead up. lol.
I am the annoying detail question person too! How comforting that I'm not alone!
