I spent the good part of Sunday afternoon digging a meager 4' x 4' shallow hole for our raised garden to rest in without remembering to remove my rings OR wear gloves so I am sporting some nasty blisters. Rookie mistake.We had a fantastic weekend and I plan on telling you all about it, posting that Essimar interview, sharing my answers to last weeks FILL IN THE BLANK post, and catching up on some of my favorite blogs this week. I have to take this little sweetheart in to get two more shots tomorrow and I'm hoping she doesn't remember it much from the last time. We'll see!

We had dinner with four friends...at the picnic table in the yard...first outdoor dinner of 2o1o at our place. LOVE SPRING.
My favorite parts of my weekend were spending time with one of my oldest friends, Ellen. It's funny, Rachel, she actually knows you from working together in Seattle. She recognized you right away when I showed her your blog months ago .. And she remembered you talking about Elsie :)
Also, getting my first sunburn of the season and discovering my new hair color is WAY different than what is pictured on the box. But I still like it, just gonna take some time to get used to.

Can't wait to hear about the garden! I did a small one in our yard in '08, we lined it with bricks and toiled the dirt and added compost, it worked just as well as a raised bed in my opinion.
Last year my garden died b/c it was over 100 degrees every. single. day.
This year we are moving so I have 1 lone tomatoe plant in a pot!

Best part of my weekend? Probably running, and being able to drag the bf to come running with me. It was good to see him wheezing and puffing after running what I do all the time. Is that wrong of me?? Oh well if it is, because it was glorious. :)
